01Who runs this site

dreamdaley.ca is operated by TNAADO Inc., doing business as Dream Daley. It's Ethan Daley's personal site. Questions about this page go to [email protected].

02What's collected

Every page load sends a small analytics record to our own server. It includes:

  • Your IP address
  • Your browser's user-agent string (browser and OS)
  • The page you're on, the referring page (if any), and any UTM campaign tags in the URL
  • An approximate location derived from your IP address: country, region, city, and a latitude/longitude. This comes from Vercel's edge network IP-geolocation lookup, not from your device's GPS or the browser's geolocation API. We never ask for or receive precise, device-level location. IP-based location is typically accurate to the city level at best, and can be materially wrong (VPNs, mobile carriers, and corporate networks routinely misplace it by dozens or hundreds of kilometres).
  • A rough device type (desktop, mobile, tablet), guessed from the user-agent string
  • How long the tab stayed visible on this page
  • A random ID generated for that single page view, used only to tie the above together

Known bots and crawlers are filtered out before anything is written. Requests are also rate-limited per IP address.

03Why

Basic traffic analytics: which pages get read, roughly where visitors are coming from, and whether people are finding the site through search, social, or a direct link. There's no advertising on this site, no ad network, and this data isn't used to build an ad profile.

04Where it's stored

In a private Supabase (PostgreSQL) database dedicated to Dream Daley's sites. ethandaley.dev writes to the same database, tagged separately so the two sites' records don't mix. The data never leaves that database: it isn't sent to Google Analytics, an ad network, a data broker, or any other third party. Ethan Daley is the only person with access to it.

05How long it's kept

There's no automatic deletion schedule in place today, so records are kept indefinitely unless manually removed. If that changes, this page will say so.

06Your options

Browser extensions and privacy-focused browser modes that block third-party analytics won't stop this specific collection, since it's a first-party request to this site's own domain. To ask about or request deletion of your data, email [email protected].
